Hachi and Shoji's relationship soon goes downhill because Shoji realizes that Hachi loves him only because he loves her back, and he could not feel her real love for him. He went on and cheated on her with his co-worker Sachiko and that is when they officially broke up.
Nana was the one who comforted Hachi that day and let her cry in her arms. Later on, Hachi and Shoji meet for the first time after their break-up and talk normally, deciding that they should move on and forget about the past. She had admired him even before meeting him, because she was already a fan of Trapnest. Music was his solace, he starts a music club in highschool and later purses music career with his band, Trapnest, which consisted of singer Layladrummer Naoki, and other members who'd leave after disagreeing with Takumi's controlling ways.
Trapnest was an instant hit in Tokyo, with their album selling over a million copies. Currently he is married to Hachi with a son Ren and daughter Satsuki between them. He depicted as a loving father to them. Physical appearance Takumi is a 6'1" tall young adult man in his early 20s. He is noted as being handsome with long black hair that reaches his shoulders, which Nana comments she wishes he would never cut it.

Irascible, his anger flares up quickly and he often loses his temper. But once anger cooled off, will bear no grudge. He is overconfident, often behaves as if he was perfect.
